About
Our purpose is to legitimise salon businesses. Making salons great places to work by providing structure and smart tools to manage processes, streamline efficiencies, and empower both managers and employees to perform at their best.

Ian Egerton
Founder of Loop HR
Ian’s purpose is to make salons great places to work — where people feel valued, and businesses thrive as respected, profitable parts of their communities.
He began his career as a hairdresser, opening his first salon at just 22. After gaining international experience and studying business, he returned to the UK in the early 2000s to take over a large London salon. His passion for the industry led to leadership roles, including serving as President of the National Hair & Beauty Federation (NHBF).
Frustrated by the everyday challenges of salon management, Ian began building systems to bring structure and consistency to the way salons operate. That work became Loop HR — a platform designed to simplify processes, empower teams, and support long-term success. Today, Ian works with salon owners across the UK and beyond, helping them implement people-first frameworks that deliver results.

Our Story
Loop HR didn’t start with a grand plan — it began with a simple goal: to make salon management easier.
Founded in 2018 and shaped by first-hand experience, Loop HR was created to give salon managers the structure, tools, and confidence to manage well — freeing them from firefighting and helping them focus on building great teams.
As technology, people management, and employment practices have evolved, so have we. Loop HR brings together smart systems with modern, people-first thinking — offering new and innovative ways to manage processes, performance, and pay in today’s salon environment.
Today, Loop HR works with salons of all sizes, collaborating with respected POS providers to streamline operations, strengthen performance, and help salon businesses and their people thrive.
