Here’s a quick overview on how to easily manage your HR functions using Loop hr.

Specific details on how to use each feature can be found in the related Knowledge Base articles.

NOTE

Loop hr functions are broken into two specific areas:

1. Salon task manager and 2. Employee performance manager.

Every element relies on accurate data (from the employee profile through to scheduling) which is why we encourage you use Loop hr regularly to maintain data and quickly update in real-time.

 

Daily actions

(2 minute check each day will save hours when processing payroll)

  • Schedules – check ‘hours scheduled’ within Loop hr relate to the actual hours worked by the employee; adjust as necessary
  • Dashboard for Admin or Manager – quick check holiday and sickness, work anniversaries, birthdays etc.

 

Weekly actions

  • Enter sales data at the end of each week
  • Review sales performance reports (dynamic reporting to-date and to period end)
  • Check scheduled work hours for the week ahead
  • Review Holidays – approve/decline holiday requests
  • Review Training requests (CPD) – approve and action or decline

 

End of period (monthly, 4 weekly, bi-weekly or weekly) actions

Review Reports

  • Employee Sales Performance reports (targets versus achieved)
    • individual sales versus achieved and KPI reporting
    • sales performance overview for the whole team by period
    • individual team members by period for the year
    • for the business compare sales to the same period last year.
  • Pay Management – complete payroll for the period.
    • Follow the payroll process, confirm/deny any deductions/additions
    • View Salaries & Costs reports
    • Export CSV file and email to your payroll provider

Team Bonus

  • Set your company goals and assign Team, Manager and/or Front-of-House Bonuses for the next period.

 

Quarterly actions

  • Review quarterly progress reports – KPI data is collated by Loop hr for quick and easy performance analysis.

 

Half Yearly actions

  • Initiate Performance Development Reviews (PDR). Frequency is relevant to your account setup.
  • Use the Appraisal report data as part of a full PDR.

 

Ad Hoc actions

  • Compliance reporting, for National Minimum Wage (NMW) age-related pay rates.
NOTE

UK National Minimum Wage (NMW) National Living Wage (NLW) rates will be updated in Loop hr, in-line with UK Government announcements at the appropriate time.

  • Salary reviews
  • Manage Company Documents and Files
    • delete old docs & files
    • upload new docs & files
    • distribute to all team members or selected individuals
    • ask for a signature or acknowledge documents have been reviewed.
  • Onboarding new team members
  • Terminating – off-boarding team members
